ANDREA COLE's practice at The Hecker Law Group focuses on intellectual property transactions and litigation.
Ms. Cole holds a J.D. degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, where she graduated Order of the Coif. She also received the American Jurisprudence Award in Criminal Procedure. Ms. Cole also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with an emphasis on International Relations from the University of California at Los Angeles. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She also holds California Teaching Credential form California State University, Northridge.
Ms. Cole is admitted to practice before the California State Bar and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Prior to joining The Hecker Law Group, Ms. Cole was in-house counsel at ProCentric Software, a manufacturer of digital encryption and anti-piracy software. She also taught grades K through 12 in public and private schools in California for ten years, where she implemented "READ 180", a computer based language arts system for ESL and special education students.
Ms. Cole is the past president of the Women Lawyers of Ventura County. In that capacity, she created MCLE courses in adoption and elder law.
She is also a BMWCCA race car instructor, teaching high performance driving and car control clinics.
